Description

Calgary Mini Maker Faire and takes place on September 12 & 13 (Sat & Sun), 10am to 5pm daily.

It's two fun filled days exploring all the cool projects that often stay hidden away in basements, garages, barns and makerspaces. This event teases out all that creativity and showcases the passion of the people who build these marvellous things. Expect to leave inspired and amazed.

Where are the tickets listed?

If you only see an option to donate and you do not have a promotion code then you probably ended up here by mistake. For general ticket sales CLICK HERE.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Maker Faire is a family friendly show and is suitable for all ages.


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is on-site paid parking, however we really encourage you to take the C-Train (Zoo Station), or ride your bike.


Can I volunteer at Maker Faire?

Why yes. Volunteers are always welcome, and besides getting free access to the event you can expect to be treated really well and leave feeling appreciated. Click here for more information.


What can/can't I bring to the event?

You are welcome to bring cameras, costumes, a notebooks, definitely your notebook, and a sense of wonder. Enter this show with child like curiosity and you will leave changed. We ask however that you do not bring pets.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

You may give your ticket or pass to someone else so long as it's before you first use it. After first use it is no longer transferable, even with weekend passes. If a ticket or pass specifically says it is non-transferable then it is non-transferable, even before it's first use.


Are non-teachers allowed to attend educator focused sessions?

Yes, so long as the attendee has a Day or Weekend pass. Non-educators are also welcome to buy tickets to the Sylvia Martinez Keynote presentation on the Saturday at 11am.

Can I purchase simply a Day Pass to Maker Faire?

Yes, you may. Day Passes can be purchased at the door.
